Founded in 1988 in the midst of deeply challenging economic conditions, the JFK Trust has worked tirelessly to improve the quality of life in New Ross, and to boost the local economy.

The Dunbrody Famine Ship continues to be the Trust’s most visible success. Both the Dunbrody and the JFK Trust are community based, and community led.
The staff and directors of the JFK Trust are continuing to work in the service of the town of New Ross. In these difficult times the Trust remains dedicated to the task of growing the local economy, and of improving the life of the town for locals and visitors alike.
In support of these ends we have been delighted, and humbled, to receive donations and sponsorship from individuals and companies, from the local to the international.

If you are interested in giving your support to the ongoing work of the Trust, then there are a number of options available to you.

For Individual or Corporate Donations, or for Companies interested in exploring Sponsorship Opportunities, please contact Carmel Delaney by e-mail at carmel@dunbrodyfamine.2cubedtest.com  or by phone at 00353-51 425239.

Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience Overview

The Dunbrody Famine Ship is one of the premier tourist attractions in the South East of Ireland. Centred on an authentic reproduction of an 1840’s emigrant vessel, it provides a world-class interpretation of the famine emigrant experience.
