Dunbrody Famine Ship experience is one of the premier Irish heritage places to visit in Wexford and a top attraction in Ireland.
The Dunbrody is an authentic reproduction of an 1840’s sailing ship. Together with our world class exhibition, it is an educational living museum of Irish History that will tell you everything you need to know about life for emigrants during the Irish famine.
Costumed performers, skilful guided tours and themed exhibitions give a unique insight into the bravery and fortitude of the many Irish people who faced a desperate situation.
Take a break at our Captain’s Table Restaurant, a unique dining experience looking out over the River Barrow and only a minute’s walk from the centre of New Ross.
